Work Sessions

No agent. No budget. No idea where to start.

I started with no agent, no credits, and limited resources. I have since worked over a hundred commercial sets and helped more than a dozen people sign with agencies. These sessions are the map I wish somebody had handed me.

These are post-pandemic strategies. Auditions aren’t in person anymore, self-taping is its own craft, and a lot of the advice still circulating was written for a business that no longer works that way — which matters as much if you’re coming back to the industry as if you’re starting.

Fit Call

Not sure which of these you need, or whether I'm the right person at all? Apply and tell me where you are. If I can help, we'll talk for ten minutes and figure out what you actually need. If I can't, I'll tell you that too and point you in the right direction.

Self-Tape Reading

Most self-tapes get read by whoever's home — a partner, a roommate, a parent — flat, out of character, and checked out by take three. That's fine for a low-stakes submission. For the audition that actually matters, it costs you your best take. I read opposite you properly, in character, for as many takes as the time allows — someone who understands the room, not just running lines.

Book a Reader
  • Live reading of every other character, in character
  • As many takes as the session allows — no cap on auditions
  • Over Zoom, or in person for Elite Eight members in Austin
  • Happy to answer a quick question in the moment — but the job is reading, not coaching

Sessions

Getting Started

$60

45 minutes

You want to model or act and have no idea what step one is.

The blunt version of the first year. We figure out what you actually have, what you actually need, and the shortest honest path between them — no gatekeeping and no upsell.

  • Which casting platforms are worth paying for, and which are not
  • What you need before you submit anywhere — and what you don't
  • How to get your first credits with no agent and no budget
  • How non-union markets like Texas really work
  • Self-tape setup on a budget — lighting, backdrop, and framing that reads professional
  • Written recap with your next three moves

Agency Ready

$150

Async · 3-day turnaround

You want representation and you need your materials to survive the submission.

Agencies reject most submissions in about four seconds, on the images alone. I go through your book the way they do and tell you exactly what's costing you the meeting — then which agencies in this market are actually worth your submission, and how to approach them.

  • Portfolio and headshot review — what to lead with, what to cut, what's missing
  • Making sure your digitals and comp card meet industry standards
  • Referrals to photographers, videographers, and editors in the Texas market, if your portfolio needs new material
  • How to find the representation that actually fits you and your needs
  • Expectations of an agent, manager, and mother agent
  • Written notes you keep, plus a follow-up call to walk them

90 minutesFull strategy session
$150

You're getting auditions but not bookings, or booking but not getting paid properly.

Bring the actual problem. Pick the length that fits it — thirty minutes for one question, ninety if you want to rebuild the whole approach.

  • Why you're getting passed at the callback stage
  • Rate setting, usage rights, and how to hold your number
  • How to handle negotiations
  • Working without an agent — and when it's finally time to get one
  • Getting rebooked, from someone who has also done the hiring

The Elite Eight

$250per month8 spots

Talent who want someone in their corner every week, not once.

Eight people. That's the whole bracket. Every other session on this page is me answering your questions. This one is me working your career alongside my own — and the difference is access, not more minutes.

The part you can't buy a la carte

My network
When I see a submission you fit, I pass it to you with the instructions and how to approach it. Same for freelance and part-time work if you're looking. Nobody booking a single session gets that.
On set with me
You still book the job — but if I can connect you to a shoot, even a TFP one, I will. That's how a portfolio gets built. Strongest for Austin and Texas locals.
In-person taping
Austin members can use a session for a real self-tape in person rather than over video, when the audition warrants it.
The business side
How to earn in experiential marketing between bookings, which free platforms and groups actually produce work, and how to run this like the small business it is.

Every month also includes

  • One 30-minute call every week, standing on your calendar
  • Async between calls — tapes, contracts, rate questions
  • Your materials revisited every quarter as you book more
  • Contract and rate review before you sign anything
  • Month to month. Leave whenever; your spot opens for someone else.
Apply for The Elite Eight

Every session starts with a short application, including the free one. It takes five minutes and it means we spend the call on your actual problem instead of finding out what it is.

Sessions are education and strategy. They are not representation, and no one can guarantee you bookings — anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something. Rescheduling is free with 24 hours notice.
